Bio:
Though Mrs. Boyle is just starting her career here in Alamogordo as the new principal at Mountain View Middle School, she is no stranger to the world of public education. Entering her 18th year as an educator, Mrs. Boyle has served in many roles including English Teacher, ELA Department Chair, ESL Lead Teacher, Assistant Principal, Dean of Instruction, Associate Principal, and Principal.  She spent the past five years as a 6-A high school principal in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Mrs. Boyle is excited to be joining her family here in the Alamogordo community!

Mrs. Boyle was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, where she completed her undergraduate degree in English Literature, with a double minor in History and French. After completing her bachelor's degree, she moved to the Dallas area to start her career as an English teacher.

Mrs. Boyle earned her BA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, her M.Ed. from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, and is currently completing her Ed.D from Texas Tech University. She is a lifelong learner constantly in pursuit of knowledge that will help her support her students.

Mrs. Boyle has been happily married to Mr. Scott Boyle (a native New Mexican) for 12 years and they have one daughter who will be starting 2nd grade at La Luz Elementary. Their family is made complete by their four-legged friends Shadow (blue heeler) and Sunshine (orange tabby).

Bio:
Dr. Baca holds three degrees all from New Mexico State University 1) a Doctoral degree in Educational Administration, 2) a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and 3) a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Health Science.

Dr. Baca has devoted 40 years of her life to a career promoting education as an administrator, teacher, boys & girls head and assistant coach, and special events director. Dr. Baca's experiences expand working with constituents from middle school, high school, college, adults, and senior citizens.

  • Dr. Baca will be the new vice principal at Mountain View Middle School for the upcoming year 2024-2025.

  • She was vice principal at Chaparral Middle School from 2022-2024.

  • She has been with New Mexico State University-Alamogordo faculty from 1996-2022.

  • During her time at NMSU-A, Dr. Baca has held many instrumental positions. She taught

    physical education and was the Tays Special Events Coordinator. She also facilitated the NMSU-A Community Health Fairs and Volleyball Camps for participation by surrounding local

    athletes.

  • Dr. Baca has ten years as a physical education teacher at Alamogordo High School from

    1986-1997

  • Dr. Baca has ten years in a coaching career (Head & Assistant Coach for Girls & Boys

    High School Sports).

Coach Baca has sustained an exemplary longevity of accomplishments and achievements.

  • Dr. Baca received the Women of Merit Honor for Alamogordo Community in 2005.

  • She was the head coach for the South All-Stars Volleyball team in 1989.

  • In 1989 her Alamogordo High School volleyball team was the 3rd Place State Champion.

  • She was the Boys Assistant Track coach for a two-year repeated State Champion (1995 & 1996) Many athletes that were coached by Dr. Baca were state champions.

  • Dr. Baca was a member of both the Alamogordo High School 1979 State Volleyball

    Team and 1980 Runner-Up State Volleyball Team. At Alamogordo High School,

She enjoys helping students by sharing her experiences as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Students find Dr. Baca to be a very passionate individual; she has always been committed to giving back to her students and the Alamogordo community.

Kari Keller

Bio:
A dedicated education professional serving as Assistant Principal at Mountain View Middle School. With 20 years of experience in public education, including teaching English at different academic levels, I am proud to have roots in Arizona and now call Alamogordo my home since 2023.

Mrs. Keller attended Arizona State University for her Bachelor's and Master's, both with an emphasis in English Education. She taught at the high school level for ten years before moving to Texas. 

The Keller family arrived in the Clovis, NM area in 2018 where she taught middle school for four years. In 2023 they moved again to Alamogordo where she began teaching and completing an administrative internship at Mountain View Middle School.

Mrs. Keller is married to Chris Keller and they have three children whom they love watching them grow up in New Mexico.
